Can the dog come along?

Dogs are welcome on board, provided they are kept on a lead. A bowl of water for your dog will be provided. We charge a small fee for your four-legged friend.

Can I park nearby?

Yes, you can park for free at our mooring in the port of Burghsluis.

Can I charter the ship?

We regularly organise parties and other private events tailored to your needs. Please contact us for the possibilities.

Is there a guide?

Yes, the guide will provide interesting information about the Oosterschelde National Park. This is narrated in Dutch. Information pamphlets are available in several languages.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, you can order a gift voucher online. Gift a full cruise or choose a fixed amount that the recipient can spend on the MS Onrust. Read more about our gift vouchers.

Can I change locations (from inside to outside and vice versa)?

No, but the seat you have reserved is yours during the cruise. Check beforehand where you want to sit and think about clothing suitable for the weather conditions and the chosen seat. If, in spite of this, there is still an urgent need to change seats, ask about the possibilities.

Can we sit indoors?

Certainly, our salon with heating can accommodate 100 people. Ideal for cruises on cold(er) days! If you want to sit inside, please take this into account when booking.

Do you sail when the weather is bad?

Nothing is as unpredictable as the weather! If it rains, we will sail and make the best of it. Only if there is a heavy storm will we cancel the cruise. Should this happen, we will contact you personally.

Is first aid available?

Yes, there is an emergency medical service and an AED on board. If assistance is required, please speak to one of the crew members.

Do I have to print my e-tickets?

No, this is not necessary. Please make sure that you can show and scan your e-tickets. If you prefer to bring printed tickets, make sure they are legible and undamaged.

Can I bring my own food and beverages?

No, this is not allowed. During sailing, the galley is open. See our menu.

Can I only order food and drinks in advance?

You can order snacks and drinks when you buy your ticket(s), but you don’t have to. If you feel like eating or drinking something on board, you can order it on the spot.

What if there is no sailing due to storm or insufficient capacity?

Based on the weather forecast, it will be decided 4 hours in advance whether the boat will sail. If the cruise is cancelled, you will be informed personally and can choose to rebook the ticket or receive a full refund.

What are the payment options for booking online?

You can pay with iDEAL, credit card, PayPal and Bancontact.

Can I smoke on board?

No, smoking is not permitted on board.

Can I heat up baby food on board?

No problem, just ask the crew and they will heat it up for you.

Do you serve vegetarian dishes on board?

Yes, there are several vegetarian dishes on our menu.

Can I board with my (electric) wheelchair or scooter?

Yes, you can; the lower deck is wheelchair friendly. The toilets are wheelchair accessible up to 1 meter wide.

Do you offer trips for scattering ashes?

Yes, we are here to help you say an honourable goodbye. Read more on this page.

Can I pay by chip ā€˜nā€™ pin on board?

Yes, please do! You can also order and pay for your tickets, food and drinks online.

What is the age limit for the child rate apply?

The children’s rate applies to children aged 0 to 11 years.

Can I buy my tickets elsewhere?

No, tickets are only available from MS Onrust. Ordering can be done quickly and easily online.

Can I cancel my reservation?
1. If the customer wishes to cancel the agreement, he must inform the entrepreneur of this as soon as possible

3. Compensation for catering and other services:
15% in case of cancellation up to 2 months before departure;
25% in case of cancellation up to 1 month before departure;
50% in case of cancellation up to 2 weeks before departure;
75% in case of cancellation up to 1 week before departure;
95% in case of cancellation up to and including 2 days before departure;
100% in case of cancellation on the day of departure.
